A real fireworks display of unforgettable events guarantees you the perfect summer holiday with children in Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. The renowned events are varied – from traditional to modern, from quiet to loud. Sometimes for families with children, sometimes for nature lovers, sometimes for athletes and sometimes for wild partygoers.
Solstice celebration
It is a long-standing tradition to light a fire on the mountain at the astronomical start of summer in June. The custom dates back to the 12th century and is said to ward off evil spirits. On the Saturday after the solstice, the beginning of summer is still celebrated with bonfires in Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.
Leogang: Countless mountain fires illuminate the Leoganger Steinberge and the Steinernes Meer. The view from the mountain and also from the valley is unique.
Fieberbrunn: Mountain summer start with midsummer bonfire at the Streuboden middle station and Wildalpgatterl.
Saalbach Hinterglemm: Solstice celebration on the Schattberg with local delicacies and musical accompaniment.
Hinterglemm: At the solstice celebration on the west summit you can experience a magnificent view at 2,096 meters above sea level. For enjoyable culinary delights, the Westgipfelhütte is open right next to the mountain station.

GlemmRide Bike Festival 2025
The GlemmRide goes into its eighth round from July 9th - 13th, 2025. The Bike Eldorado Saalbach Hinterglemm will finally be the venue for the legendary bike festival again with unique M.O.D big air shows, exciting downhill, expo and a unique program of side events. The side events include an expo area, training sessions, “Ride with the Pros” and much more. The main events, such as the Masters of Dirt Big Air shows and the iXS Rookies Cup and downhill races, will provide thrills and adrenaline kicks.

19. Glemma vintage car exit
For classic car fans and car enthusiasts, the 19th Glemma Oldtimer Excursion is a must. In 2025, absolute rarities and high-quality individual pieces will be launched again.
Preliminary program for spectators:
8:30 a.m. Start of around 100 top-class vintage cars in Saalbach
approx. 4:30 p.m. Drive through Hinterglemmer Dorfstrasse
approx. 5:30 p.m. Return to Saalbach Schattberg parking lot

42. Hinterglemm farmers market
A highlight is the large customs area with a tractor exhibition, numerous exhibitors from various disciplines and musical accompaniment by local music groups. Other program items include: the farmers' market, traditional golf, the large children's area and the traditional parade on Saturday at 4 p.m. with numerous festival carriages and local clubs.

Saalbach Trail & Sky Race
On August 17th and 18th 2024 The Saalbach Trail & Skyrace will take place for the tenth time. This year, runners can expect between 3.3 km and 47 km with an altitude difference of up to 3,500 m. The 6H Challenge on Sunday is also back in the program for altitude junkies.

25th World Games of Mountain Biking
ALL mountain bikers are once again admitted to the World Games of Mountain Biking this year and will fight for the title of “World Games Champion”. With an altitude of between 1,000 and 2,100 meters, the Pinzgau Grass Mountains offer the best conditions for the competition. The event is scheduled to take place from September 5th to 8th. Back again: The E-Marathon, here, as for the first time in 2022, there will be a special distance for bicycles with electric drives.
Girls and boys up to 13 years old again have the opportunity to compete against each other in six age groups at the Junior Trophy. The rookies up to 15 years old can also attempt the marathon distance 21.

Sound tracks at the Asitz
You and your family will experience unique musical enjoyment in a breathtaking mountain backdrop at the TON tracks at Leoganger Asitz. Music and nature lovers enjoy five concerts by different music groups in the open air at the Asitz summit at 1,870 m between June and August. In the evening atmosphere at the picturesque reservoir at the foot of the large Asitz, the sound forms a harmonious harmony with nature. If the weather is bad, the concerts take place in the AsitzBräu.
Family hikes
Together with hiking guides, the first family hike goes from the Asitz mountain station to the Kohlmais middle station. All participants in the hike can end the day comfortably at the family hiking festival and then take shuttle buses back to Leogang. The second family hike goes in the opposite direction from Kohlmais over the Wildenkarkogel to Asitz. Here, too, there is a family hiking festival with a children's program, bouncy castle, tombola and music. It's also worth joining the guided hikes in Saalbach and taking a new look at the landscapes.
Children's parties
People laugh and celebrate here. The kids are the main actors at the three exuberant children's festivals in Saalbach Hinterglemm and Leogang. With a fun, varied children's program such as face painting, craft stations, bouncy castle, hip-hop moves and a magic show, your little ones will definitely not get bored.
OKIDOKI ON TOUR - BIG CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL AT THE REITERKOGEL
Games, fun and a good mood are guaranteed at “OKIDOKI on tour” at the Reiterkogel middle station in Hinterglemm!
The popular event format “OKIDOKI on Tour” offers the youngest children exercise and fun all day long. From the “Great Animals” games in the zoo to let off steam, to meeting the cuddly TV stars, to the tricky puzzle rally and the skill stations - the overall package makes for an eventful day for the whole family!
